Hi - i have a vw golf mk4 and the passenger door will not open it will not unlock the key doesnt work and the central locking attepts to but it just pops back to the same position either up or down it doesn't unlock. I think that can sometimes be used to unlock the door.. not actually pop it open.. and i don't think it'd work on our locks anyway. how do you fix a rear passenger door handle on a mk4 vw golf with child lock enabled so the door cannot be opened from the inside the handle pulls and clicks but golf iv & jetta iv; my door won't open need. I have a mk4 golf, and the front passenger door now wont open from the outside or the inside. the handles seem fine to the feel and it locks and unlocks ok as the pin comes up and down with the others.. Well maybe a mk4 golf, i removed it when i realised it was for the wong model, but i think it only works if the mk4 golf is unlocked already. once u have the door open, take the lock out.
